Right to Refuse Unsafe Work

If you have been asked to perform a task you feel is unsafe you must communicate your concerns in the following order:

Right to Reuse
Right to Reuse steps
Explain the concerns to your supervisor

If you still believe there is a problem, you and your supervisor will continue to investigate with another worker (from the H&S committee or the union).

No resolution?

Both you and your employer must contact WorkSafeBC for further investigation.
